Wrong Yard, Has it ever happened to you? Options

Have you ever setup in the wrong yard? How did you handle it? How did the recipient are order placer handle it?

We haven't, but I hear that it's not uncommon. We're so paranoid that it'll happen that we check and double check everything as much as we can. Thankfully with storks there are sometimes other little 'welcome baby' things in the yard (balloons, little signs, baby items by garbage etc) and we know we have the right house. I'm sure that some day we'll end up making that mistake (maybe the customer giving the wrong house number or something).

We haven't done a "wrong" yard yet, but get really stressed and paranoid when there is no house number and the description does not totally match what the sender has told us...

We did not do one, because we couldn't get a hold of the sender and we couldn't find the house number and we've had to call the sender at least twice in the middle of the night because we were not able to find the recipient's house...

About 8 years ago I went to deliver a stork and there was a car there and the front door was open, with just the storm door closed. Not sure why, but I had a wierd feeling so I went up and knocked. It was an elderly lady and she def. had not just had a baby! Turns out the customer reversed numbers in the address. That was the closest we've come...thank goodness!
